I think it's time I finally updated my bio...the previous one was just telling a story that a lot of people have heard time and time before, and yeah, maybe it was for other people to be aware of what amazing things MCR can do, but still. There wasn't a need to be preachy.
I don't have to explain much about what the guys did for me: they helped me through a lot of hard times and still do, I look up to them as rolemodels, and they've inspired me to embrace my love for art, whatever form it may be. They've helped me become the person I am today, and they made me realize that I'm worth something. I love them to pieces.
However...
My first bio didn't tell shit about me, just how I became a fan of the guys, so here you go, something real:
My name is Danni, I'm 20, overdramatic, prone to crying, too-sensitive, and an artist. I love writing, taking pictures and I'm trying to get better at drawing people. I have a distinct anime style, and I'm gradually getting better at details in clothing and hair. I write a lot better than I talk, and a lot of the time I get artists' block, because I can't choose which idea to stick with. XD
A lot of the artwork I post comes from a roleplay that my best friend and I act out all the time, involving MCR, the two of us, every band associated with MCR, and a crazed plot with TONS of twists and turns and plain epicness. I've always meant to write it as a fanfiction, but my God, it'd take over a year to write it out, seeing how we started two summers ago and we're still adding shit to it. Sure, we know when it starts and when it ends but damn! Gotta fill that 20-or-so year time span with something! And WE DO.
Speaking of art...
I'd rather go to art school than college, due to the fact that art is pretty much all I care about when it comes to a career, but until I get the money, that'll have to wait. But I can dream. In fact, I dream a lot about my future. I wanna be a bassist for a band later in life, despite the fact that I can't play bass now. :P So I gotta save up for that as well, or win the lottery. Whatever works.
Aside from visual arts, I love music. I definitely have my favorite bands, and even though I'm an open-minded person, it's difficult for me to fall in love with a new band. I'm very loyal to the bands on the top of my list, especially MCR and Green Day. AFI and The Used are there, too, and I'll defend all those boys 'till the end. :3
Well, I think that's about it, seeing how I've been rambling on about art and roleplaying and stuff, so I'll leave on a serious note. I've changed a lot since I started this account on dA, so lemme just tell you this:
Don't ever be afraid to do what you love, especially if it's because you don't know how other people would treat you if they found out. You're your own person and it shouldn't matter what others think about you. If they laugh about it, rub it in their face. Love yourself, and don't be afraid of embracing yourself and your dreams. :3
I love you all!
~Danni
